Naturopathic dietary assessments are available to all patients as an add-on to your treatment.

Who is it for

Everyone who eats.

Remedial vs General Health

It is widely accepted that good nutrition plays an important part in healing wounds and is necessary for promoting good health. As a naturopath, Michelle will always take diet and nutrition into account when making an assessment of your overall health and vitality. As part of your treatment programme, necessary dietary changes will be suggested to support your recovery. It is important to note that in most situations these will not be in the form of a conventional diet, but more as steps towards healthy lifestyle changes.

“Our food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food.”
– Hippocrates

First Visit vs Ongoing Treatment

Naturopathic dietary assessments are available to all patients as an add-on to your treatment. These assessments require you to complete a one-week diet and symptom diary where you should note what type of food and how much you eat per day, and if you experience a change in your symptoms in relation to eating these foods. The diary will be analysed and advice given on changes that can be made to improve your health. Diet diary analysis is particularly useful in treating complaints such as migraines, PMT and other gynaecological problems, and disorders of the digestive tract, e.g. IBS, acid reflux, etc. The review of your diary is booked as a 30-minute session. Prices for nutritional assessments are £30 per assessment.

“Those who think they have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness.”
– Edward Stanley
