Michelle Finnigan

Osteopath and Owner of Zest Health

I initially qualified as a massage therapist in 2000, and was converted to the benefits of Osteopathy after suffering first hand the pain of repetitive strain injury, and the incredibly therapeutic effect of the treatments. I graduated with a first class Honours in Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) and a diploma in Naturopathy (N.D) in London in 2007.

Throughout my degree I regularly worked in spas and gyms doing sports and relaxation massage, and post-graduation I split my time working as an osteopath between two gym based clinics, one in South Kensington, and the other closer to home. Additionally I spent several years working at a private complementary health clinic, The Green Room, in Wimpole Street W1 where I saw a variety of patients referred from the attached GP practice. In 2012 I was asked by BCOM to be a regular lecturer in Osteopathy which I continued to do until taking a sabbatical in 2014 in order to concentrate on my business.

Zest Health opened its doors in March 2009 and has been gaining momentum ever since, primarily led by personal recommendation. The ethos of the clinic revolves around providing osteopathic care for all members of the family, from young to old. I love to have a chat with anyone, and have learnt so much from my patients about every topic. It gives me such pleasure to be a part of the local community.

I am trained in First Aid and carry all the necessary personal indemnity insurances as a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (Number 6546) and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
